CERTIFICATIONS

Operation Flinders offers SIS20213 Certificate II in Outdoor Recreation as part of our Peer Group Mentor program.

This is a nationally recognised qualification consists of 11 units of Competency, 4 core and 7 electives and it reflects the role of individuals who assist with operational logistics and the delivery of recreational activities.

Young people work under direct supervision and with guidance from those responsible for planning, finalising and delivering activities, including program managers and leaders. It also provides a pathway for our young people to work for any type of organisation that delivers outdoor recreation activities including commercial, not-for-profit and government organisations.

We are able to do this through our partnership with The Scouts Australia Institute of Training (SAIT) which is an Enterprise Registered Training Organisation (No. 5443).
